Jeff Smith is President & CEO of Cyrus Works, where he helps business owners clarify challenges, strengthen leadership teams, and build sustainable, values-driven organizations. The principles and methodology used at Cyrus Works were developed and proven through Jeff’s own experience leading a thriving, service-driven family business. 

Jeff also serves as President of Smith Family Funeral Homes, a third-generation, family-owned organization founded in 1955. By applying the same strategic planning, leadership alignment, employee development, accountability, and culture-building framework now taught through Cyrus Works, Jeff has guided the organization to more than 600% growth, significantly expanding its reach while preserving its mission of compassionate care and community trust. 

In addition to his executive leadership, Jeff is active at both the local and national levels. He currently serves as President of the Little Rock Executives’ Association, a prestigious organization of local business leaders committed to reciprocal referrals and professional collaboration, and as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Funeral Service Foundation, where he advances philanthropic and educational initiatives that strengthen the funeral service profession nationwide. 

A sought-after public speaker, Jeff presents at conferences, leadership events, and Christian organizations speaking on leadership development, strategic growth, and servant leadership—blending actionable frameworks with inspirational clarity. 

Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and an MBA with honors from the University of Memphis. He is passionate about his family, developing leaders, giving back to the community, and helping organizations grow with purpose and integrity.
